Allows holding the ribs during canvas mounting and transmitting a load distributed during wing deformations. Insensitive to tension sealing compounds, heat sources, humidity, it cannot change the geometrics of the ribs.

How to use procedure :
Remove the PE yellow protection. Place the cloth side on a hot iron (approx. 120° C), Place and press on the cloth to be glued. Then using a very hot 2 mm dia. round nail (gas heated), place it in the middle hole ; the heat will ²solder² the perimeter of the hole by melting the cloths and the PU glue.To be placed in the low points on both sides of the ribs.

Reinforcement ring
To be posed after the first tension sealing compound coat is applied, by adding a little sealing compound to superficially ²melt² the ring into the cloth.
We recommend then completely finishing the canvas mounting, applying the tension sealing compounds, and primary and finish paints without touch-ups to the trapdoors. You’ll fly like this and cut inside the day you need to do so ! ! ! Be sure to save the aluminum covers.

The contact thermometer allows checking the canvas mounting iron’s temperature.It operates directly in contact on the iron base.

Small model
This iron is specially designed for canvas mounting. It has rounded edges to prevent scoring the cloth, an adjustable thermostat to give a constant temperature to obtain a uniform canvas mounting. Very effective for removing folds. Provides a great ease in difficult mounting situations.
