DIATEX SAS, an expanding company specialized in the manufacture of technical fabrics, positioned on market niches, is looking for an Area Sales Manager. DIATEX is a human size company, certified ISO9001, EN9100 and Oeko Tex, located in Saint-Genis-Laval near Lyon in the heart of the corridor of chemistry and Technical textile.
Thanks to its four divisions (Aeronautics, Composites, Technical Textiles and Agrotextile), and its several subsidiaries, DIATEX intends to continue its development through innovation and investment. The strategy is to strengthen its international positions in order to quickly increase our export sales from 45% to 60%
Job Description
Area Sales Manager attached to the composite division and reporting to the Export Manager, you will strengthen the Export Sales Team. Job location => Head Office Lyon

Development of new markets in targeted areas
• Start prospects and customers (travel),
• Processing of export customer requests, establishment and follow-up of offers according to customer needs and negotiated rates.
• Retain the company’s current customer base in its areas (travel),
• Conduct market studies and prospect prospects
• Propose and ensure the commercial operations and promotion of products as an ambassador of the image of his company abroad (trade fair)

Animation and management of its area
• Facilitating, organizing and coordinating visits
• Negotiate with the most important customers and purchasing groups
• Analyze business results and propose actions to improve them

Contribution to export trade policy
• Reporting to sales management : results, competition, trends, cultural characteristics, specific standards, etc.
• Set operational objectives and ensure proper internal management of the export
• Collect technical and commercial information on competition.

Expected results
• Expansion of export sales and growth in margins
• Number of loyal customers and customer satisfaction
• Successful promotion and return on investment

You have a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position and in the composite materials sector. Experience with aerospace customers. Autonomous, involved, organized person, with a sense of communication both internally and with clients. Very good command of English and a third language (if possible German). Computer skills (Excel, Word, ERP Sage X3).
