DIATEX
1000 and 1500 (straight edged)
(cut hot, without unraveling).
Used in stitching on skin coverage
or leading edge to reinforce the rib "cowling" for
unstitched wings.
Rolls of 100 m.
Widths from 40 to 100 mm.
DIATEX 1000 and 1500 (pinked edged)
Used in stitching on skin coverage or leading edge in reinforcement.
For purists and collectors.
Rolls of 50 m.
Widths of 25, 50, 75 and 100 mm.
DIATEX 1000 and 1500 (diagonal
tread)
(cut cold, without unraveling)
Used in skin coverage, and reinforcement.
High deformability, for curves.
Rolls of 100 m.
Widths of 50, 75 and 100 mm.

|
Allows holding the ribs during
canvas mounting and transmitting a load distributed during wing
deformations. Insensitive to tension sealing compounds, heat
sources, humidity, it cannot change the geometrics of the ribs.

Spool
of
15 mm x 200 lm. |
Extra flat breading, limiting
extra thickness at passage.
Ultimate tensile strength : 23 kg
(Standard = 18,2).
Spools of 260 g = 500 m ( ± 2 %).). |
Thickness
: 0.3 mm Width : 0.9 mm. |
High resistance stainless
steel needles for an effective stitching.

Straight
needles,
length of 20 to 40 cm.
Curved needles,
radius of 4 to 6 cm. |
For ventilation and evacuation
of humidity, inside the wings.Cutouts in Diacov 1000
How to use procedure :
Remove the PE yellow protection. Place the cloth side on a hot
iron (approx. 120° C), Place and press on the cloth to be
glued. Then using a very hot 2 mm dia. round nail (gas heated),
place it in the middle hole ; the heat will ²solder²
the perimeter of the hole by melting the cloths and the PU glue.To
be placed in the low points on both sides of the ribs. |

Reinforcement
ring
To be posed after the first tension sealing compound coat is
applied, by adding a little sealing compound to superficially
²melt² the ring into the cloth.
We recommend then completely finishing the canvas mounting,
applying the tension sealing compounds, and primary and finish
paints without touch-ups to the trapdoors. You’ll fly
like this and cut inside the day you need to do so ! ! ! Be
sure to save the aluminum covers.
Cover
120 mm diameter, made of aluminum, with riveted and integrated
pad spring. To be installed after cutting the inside of the
reinforcement spring during the first inspection of the structure.

The contact thermometer allows
checking the canvas mounting iron’s temperature. It operates
directly in contact on the iron base.
This indispensable tool allows optimizing the cloth’s
tension to obtain a high-quality canvas mounting . |

|
Small
model
This iron is specially designed for canvas mounting. It has
rounded edges to prevent scoring the cloth, an adjustable thermostat
to give a constant temperature to obtain a uniform canvas mounting.
Very effective for removing folds. Provides a great ease in
difficult mounting situations. |

| Polyurethane protection strips |
To protect your leading edges
against rain, insects, sand, snow, hail, gravels... These 3M
products are designed to protect the leading edges of aircraft,
as well as other exposed parts. They prevent impacts and deteriorations
due to rain, insects, sand, snow, hail and most particles liable
to be encountered. They constitute the most effective way to
assure an extremely resistant protection.
Resistant to abrasion, U.V. radiation, and do not change the
color of paints.
Application
The product must be applied to a clean metal part, or any paints
covering a canvas surface, or metal elements. The surface must
be shiny, and equal or better than that obtained by sanding
with a no. 400 sandpaper.
It should not have any dirty or greasy particles on it.
If applied to new paint, it is necessary to wait approximately
96 hours at 20° C so that the solvents are totally evaporated
before being installed.
Warning : This coating is a permanent coating.
It glues very firmly to the paint. Trying to remove it could
cause a pulling out of paint. However, it is possible to remove
it by pulling slowly on an edge at an angle of 160° / 180°
with respect to the surface. Adhesive residues may be removed
by using a solvent.
Ref. 86 cannot be used on
airplane propellers, helicopter rotors, deicing parts, or other
sections on
which unlamination could cause a problem. Width :152.4 mm. Ref.
85 is used mainly on leading edges of
propellers. width 25.4 mm. |
| Rotary foam sleeves
: AXMANMOUFL10 |
10 cm in width for self-locking
rolls.Usable with NITROCELLULOSE sealing compounds (glue, colorless
and aluminum) ; they resist perfectly to their chemistry.
To be used only from the 3rd coat,
in order to obtain a pretty surface condition, reducing sanding
operations …
Self-locking rotary mountings :
AXMONTAUTO
For FLOQ foam rotary mountings of 10 cm in width. Steel armature
and plastic handle, available in 2 lengths : 24 and 39 cm. |

| Touch-up bottles
: AXFLACRET30V |
| For Polyurethanne paints,
with STAINLESS STEEL ball incorporated plus thin clamp plug.
With a 30 ml content, they will allow you after separately setting
your airplane’s paint and its catalyzer aside to prepare
your mixture for paint touch-ups on your aircraft. |
