Training The three day RTM Tooling course addresses all aspects of RTM mould design, construction and production infrastructure. The programme is based on proven technology and is designed to provide delegates with the techniques and procedures needed to confidently apply RTM to their individual tooling requirements. All participants will receive an illustrated stop by step instruction manual. Course Overview : Frame and clamp design Calibration techniques Pattern design and preparation Understanding the RTM process Incorporate temperature control into the tool face Location of sprues, vents, multiple injection ports, and sensors. Designing for ribs, cores, bosses and inserts etc. Mould commissioning. Priority curing techniques, surface finish requirements Injection machinery and relevant process ancillaries Tool life and care. Materials resin and reinforcement systems. RTM LIGHT TRAINING COURSE In addition to the intensive three day RTM course, we offer an additional day for RTM Light training. Based on the knowledge gained on the RTM course the basic rules can be adapted to manufacture RTM Light tools. All participants will receive an illustrated step by step instruction manual. Course Overview : Flange calibration for passive and Dynamic seals and resin channel. Location of inserts - Resin/ Vacuum/ Catchpot and Dynamic seal Seal installation Understanding of the VM/RTM Light process Preparation and injection of VM/RTM Light mould.
